Conference Information

Address: The conference will be held in person in the Natural History Building at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign: 1301 W. Green Street Urbana, IL 61801. Virtual participants are welcome - a link will be sent out to virtual attendees shortly after registration closes.

Street parking is available along Matthews Avenue. Meters cost $1 an hour on Saturday but are free on Sunday.  We recommend that you park in Campus Parking Lot B1 (Springfield Avenue between Matthews and Goodwin (see map above)). It is located east of the Grainger Engineering library and is a five-minute walk from NHB. 

Wi-Fi will be available at the conference. Choose: IllinoisNet_Guest (no password)

Hotel Information

RESERVATION PROCEDURE: Each reservation will be taken on an individual basis through our direct reservations line at 217-398-3400. When doing so, please inform your guests to refer to the MSCAR room block for the special group rate. If you wish to offer online booking to your guests, please contact your Sales Manager in order to have a link created for your guests to directly visit for your block's reservations.

All guests are responsible for paying the room & tax charges, as well as any incidental charges incurred, and will be required to provide a credit card to hold on file at the time of booking.

CUTOFF DATE: All reservations must be made by August 29, 2023 in order to receive the special group rate. Any reservations made after this date will be honored based on hotel availability at the best available rate. Once the cutoff date has passed, any and all unused rooms within the block will be released back into hotel inventory for general sale
