Biography
Scott is a first year MS student working with Deanna Hence on frontal orographic precipitation enhancement during the OLYMPEX field campaign (2015). Scott graduated from the University of Illinois with his BS in Atmospheric Sciences in 2020. He is passionate about tropical meteorology, extratropical cyclones, mountain meteorology, and severe weather.
When the times are right, he enjoys storm chasing and weather photography. He loves mountain climbing, mountain biking, and skiing. He served as a TA for ATMS-120 Severe and Hazardous weather for two years during his undergraduate career. Currently, he is a TA for ATMS-301 Atmospheric Thermodynamics.
